Heres some art I was working on for a cancelled iOS puzzle game, the theme was blue sky so I chose to build a futuristic gameshow theme with nods to 60’s sci-fi poster art.
The idea being that the main character was kidnapped from a costume party and forced to zap cubes in hazardous intergalactic arenas.
Our student team had 4 months to work on our final graduating project so we chose to create a 3d platformer about a crazy viking child stranded on an island who uses Giraffe heads and other makeshift weaponry to survive.
I was responsible for the look and feel of the game and created concept art to provide inspiration for the rest of the art team.
This was my second student project, we used UDK to build a multiplayer assassination game where the goal was to hold on to an artifact to accumulate points, whoever reached 100 points first won the round.
I was the art lead for this project but also managed the programming team as well to ensure milestones were hit, we decided to focus on a black vs white theme inspired by the light and dark ninja fight from Samurai Jack where ninjas against their respective colors would be invisible unless they made noise which would give away their position.
Our first team project was a rail shooter with the goal of destroying the enemy planets and fighting the end boss.
